Last August 17, 2017 Foodpanda Philippines initiate another Good Food Tour where Foodies and Bloggers where invited. It’s their 7th edition and this time, it is Mexican-Spanish theme. I’m so excited to meet and greet my fellow Bloggers and at the same time to experience this one of a food crawl in the heart of Quezon City.

Mr. Rommel Bulaquina, Marketing Communication Officer of Foodpanda deliver a welcome remarks to the Food Bloggers.

A sweet surprise awaits the attendees.

As we all know, Filipino cuisines has a major influence of Spanish because in the history, Spain conquered Philippines for about 300 years.  The Spanish or even Latin American dishes is widely eaten by many. Tacos, Burritos, Ncahos, Paella, and Churros are among their famous delectable food.

Our first stop for this expedition is Señor Pollo, owned by El Chupacabra Group.

Señor Pollo is located in F7 Building, 49 Scout Rallos Extension, Diliman, Quezon City.

This restaurant’s bestseller is Roasted Chicken that’s seasoned perfectly served with your choice of side dishes. There are also other Latin American pieces like Quesadillas, Nachos and Pollowrap. They also offer beers and cocktails to cool off your mind after a stressfull day at work. Señor Pollo is also called “hole-in-the-wall” and it is gaining popularity nowadays.

Here are some delectable dishes from Señor Pollo...

Nachos with full of topping.

Chicken Sisig. It's a sizzling crispy chicken that is so flavorful.

Fried Chicken - so tender chicken and the gravy is perfect.

Roast Chicken with sides

Hot Wings. The hotness of the wings is well-balanced.

Dulce de Leche Cheesecake made my day, the sweetness is balance.

The whole place has a nice ambiance plus they really have cool artwork on their walls reflecting the rich culture of the Mexican people.

For our second stop we have Dulcinea which has been  serving authentic Spanish cooking since 1963.
Dulcinea is located at 282 Tomas Morato Ave, Diliman, Quezon City.

They served tapas, sopas, ensaladas and many more Spanish favorites. This place is a must go to if you’re a big fan of churros because they are well-known for their bestseller heavenly Classic Churros and Chocolate dip.

Here are some dishes we've tasted...
Paella Valenciana is loaded of flavor toppings.

Salmon Al Ajillo

Salpicao - very tender meat.

Very refreshing Tropical Fruitshake.

The finale, Churros con Chocolate of Dulcinea is so tempting. The chocolate is mouth-watering and I really love that the Churros dipped to the generous chocolate.

Photo opps with my fellow Bloggers and Foodies.

Last stop is Alba Restaurant. For the past six decades, they’ve become the home of traditional Spanish cooking.
Alba Restaurant is located at Tomas Morato cor. Dr. Scout Lozano, Quezon City

“I want to bring to Manila a part of Spain and its cultural history via the food that we offer”, says Cachelle de Alba, owner of Alba Restaurante Espanol. From tortilla, ensalada, pasta and paellas. You name it, and cherished tradition makes it the perfect place to celebrate occasions with your family.

Here are dishes we've tasted...

Chorizo Fritos - you can taste the strong flavor of the Chorizo.

Berenjenas Al Horno

Gambas Al Ajillo - this is my favorite because I love Shrimp, the addition of the wrapped bacon adds more goodness.

Paella Valenciana

Paella Negra - at first it made me curious because of it's color but the taste is so good. The ink of the squid adds more sices to this paella.

Lengua Sevillana

Paella con Setas y Pesto

Lapu-Lapu a la Romana

Callos a la Madrileña

Salpicado de Solomillo

Conchinillo is the star of the night.
