Hiraya Filipino Bean-To-Bar Chocolates launched their new variants

Introducing...Hiraya Filipino Bean-To-Bar Chocolates new variants: Coconut, Quezo de Bola and Chicharon.

It was a day of learning about chocolates last September 9, 2017. For a chocoholic like me, it is a privilege to be invited in a chocolate tasting. It is totally sugar rush!. We all know that most of the products that has been introduced in the market now a days are imported particularly Chocolates. There's only few local products that available in a grocery or convenience store. I've noticed that some of these local products can only avail in bazaars or food expo.

Bloggers actively participates during the chocolate tasting held at Roots Katipunan last Saturday, Sep. 9.

It is amazing that a local brand named Hiraya, a Filipino Bean-To-Bar Chocolates offers a different variant that every Filipino should be proud of. It is very common that chocolate bars has nuts, nougats, fruits, caramel and the like but Hiraya is different.

Here are the variants of Hiraya Chocolates prices ranging from Php 180-200. It is suitable for vegans because it has no artificial flavor, no preservatives and no additives.

For those who are curious why or where they get the name Hiraya well to those 90s kids who grew up watching educational program maybe you're familiar with the show Hiraya Manawari. This is actually they got the name. Hiraya is ancient Filipino word means "the fruit of one's hopes, dreams, and aspirations".

Since it a a Filipino bean-to-bar chocolate company, the source of the cacao is directly from local farmers meaning it also generates job. They help to improve their lives and their communities as well through direct and fair trade. As of today, they have 1 community composed of 58 farmers in Brgy. Malabog, Davao City.

I have a huge sweet tooth! Once you buy Hiraya Chocolates, you're not only satisfied to its taste but also by patronizing local products you improve the lives of local farmers.

I'm a certified chocoholic! For those who knows me very well, since I was a kid I'm so delighted if I was given a chocolate. I tried all the variants and the Chicharon is my favorite. For me, I love the the way the crispy chicharon adds more yumminess in the chocolate. It is so unique and amazing how this favorite crackling pork that eaten as a "pulutan" or snack is now in a chocolate!

Well, for sure you are now craving for this mouth-watering chocolate bars. It's a must-try and I will assure you that the taste is excellent. This local product can compete to the world market, the universe rather.
