Seafoods overload here at Above Sea Level Restaurant

 

I love seafoods. A week ago, I can't hide my excitement that I'm going to taste the newest talk of the town which is the Butterfly Squid. At first, I'm so curious how it was made and so eager to taste it. For some seafoods lover out there often taste the usual squid dishes like Adobong Pusit, Fried Calamares and Grilled Squid but wait, Above Sea Level Restaurant offers extraordinary seafoods dishes. They are famous with their tagline "Home of the Giant Butterfly Squid" because they are the original and the very first to come up with the idea of making a squid to the next level.

Above Sea Level menu is not all about sea foods, they also offer desserts, ramen and even sushi. The food is best share with your friends and loved ones.  Rest assured that all foods are fresh and the prices is affordable.

Butterfly Squid

This Butterfly Squid not only looks appetizing but the taste really superb. Crunchy outside and so tender inside. I loved the way I dip it in a vinegar. There are different sizes that available (Giant, Super, King and Groot) and it is good for 1 to 4 persons and it comes with a Java Rice.

Seafood Festival (good for 3 persons  - P380)

If you are a seafood lover, this is the must try dish because everything is all there..Crabs, Prawns, Mussels. The corn and the sauce adds yumminess to this dish.

Squid Fries (P250)

We're only familiar we the famous potato fries but here in Above Sea Level they have Squid Fries. Same as the Butterfly Squid, it is also crunchy outside. It was deeply fried and the breading is tasteful.

The interior of the restaurant is very cool as if you're cruising in a ship and everything you see is waves and ocean because of its one of a kind design. Also, customers will be serenade by the lovely band who sings very well. I really enjoy dining here at Above Sea Level - Maginhawa Branch. It's totally a gastronomic experience of yummy seafoods overload.

Yay! I got an award for being a foodie...just kidding! But for me, this Giant Butterfly is definitely the best.  So tender and well-seasoned! 🐙🐙🐙
