Let's explore Angono, Rizal

It was a sunny Saturday and the weather is perfect for travelling. Time to relax and unwind. Truly that summer is fast approaching. I'm so excited that I'm going to explore Angono, Rizal.

I used to live in Angono, Rizal before but never got a chance to explore this town that's why I feel delighted that I'm part of the group of Influencers to explore the Art Capital of the Philippines. Angono is part of Rizal Province and its nearby towns are Taytay, Antipolo and Binangonan.  Known as the home of artists, Lucio San Pedro and Francisco "Botong" Francisco, Higantes Festival and exotic restaurant - Balaw-Balaw. Angono is a must visit place to explore not only for art lover but also for foodies and who appreciate nature.

Our first stop is Annie's Garden Cafe. Located at 704 Manila East Road, Brgy. Pag-asa, Binangonan, Rizal (beside Annelyn Lodging Inn) It's in the boundary of Angono and Binangonan.

It's full of blooming flowers, plants, butterflies, and sunflower art designs. Feel the nature and nice ambiance that makes you chillax. Discover this instagrammable cafe and I assure you that every spot is worth to strike a pose!

They offer healthy and tasteful dishes that will satisfy your mood. So perfect for  health conscious as well. Generous serving of meals that will makes your tummy happy.

The Tapa and Sisig is made up of mushroom so you won't have to worry about compromising your diet. The Ube champorado is perfectly served with cheese on top and you can taste the real Ube. I love the texture and taste of Kutsinta with fresh shredded coconut. Plus the Turmeric Coffee feels you enjoy its goodness because it is made up of finest ingredients.

Our second stop is The Blanco Family Museum. The Blanco Family Museum is a must visit place for all the art lover and enthusiasts because each masterpiece has a story. From their humble beginnings, from 1st generation to 3rd generation, they have different style and inspiration and you'll definitely appreciate art even more.

From the late Jose "Pitok" Blanco who started it all, her wife Loreto who later became an artist too plus their seven children namely Glenn, Noel, Michael, Joy, Jan, Gay and Peter Paul. And up to the grandchildren were all talented. A family of artists indeed.

All the paintings and artworks in the museum are very amazing and at the same time inspiring. The curator during our tour in the museum is Lemuel Blanco, part of the 3rd generation of Blanco family. You will feel the way he curated how knowledgeable and proud he is to his family's creation and surely at his young age he will go far in Art industry and may be surpass his father nor grandfather's achievements.

What I loved to the family's artwork is, it's lively, all natural and no pretentions. From a simple theme to feature a child, farm, animals, food and the town people signifies simplicity that becomes a masterpiece.

Come and visit The Blanco Family Museum. It is located at 312 Ibañez St, Angono, Rizal. It is opened from Tue-Sun (8:30am - 5:30pm).

Our third Stop is Grill-Out Burger. Located just across The Blanco Family Museum. So after you mesmerized from the paintings and artworks from the museum, you can dig in to their yummy snacks!

Grill-Out Burger will satisfy your hunger! Aside from tasteful burgers that is made from pure beef, they also have sausages, pasta, and fries.

Visit their store at 312 Ibanez Street, Brgy. San Vicente, Angono, Rizal.

They're open daily (Sunday to Thursday 2PM - 9PM) and (Friday & Saturday 2PM - 11PM).

Unfortunately I wasn't able to join to the last stop which is in Kampo de Angono due to personal reason but I would like to visit this soon!
