SunPIOLOgy Run: Sugar Wars

Last October 11, 2016, the SunPIOLOgy Run Presscon was held at Sofitel Philippine Plaza. 

SunPIOLOgy is an annual fund-raiser organized by Sunlife Financial and StarMagic and this 
year's theme is Sugar Wars. It is run against diabetes, as we all know that Philippines 

declared as diabetic hot spot. Sugar Wars pushes for an active lifestyle as one of the 

deterrents against this debilitating disease.


SunPIOLOgy Run: Sugar Wars will be held on November 19 (Saturday) at Camp 

Aguinaldo in Quezon City. Sports enthusiasts, Athlete, Runner and Celebrities from Star 

Magic are expected to join on this exciting and healthy run. Iñigo Pascual will also launch 

his debut album featuring the official Go Well jingle "Live Life Brighter", together with 

surprise performance.

Participants can choose from distances that include a 500m walk/dash for kids and 

adults (Php350); 3k (Php700); 5k (Php800); and 10k (Php900).

SunLife PH Brand Ambassador and Coach Rio answers the questions from the media. According to Piolo, he exercise regularly and never counts his calories and eat what ever food he wants to eat. Coach Rio said, it will be his first time to run in Camp Aguinaldo that's why he's excited.

Rex Education takes home awards at 21st Manuel L. Quezon Gawad Parangal, 45th Catholic Mass Media Awards

  Rex Education was recently recognized at the 21st Manuel L. Quezon Gawad Parangal and the 45th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA). The Quezon Gawad Parangal is held annually in October as part of the local government’s celebration of the city’s founding. The 2023 awards ceremony recognized individuals and institutions who were exemplary in the fields of social work, environment and sanitation, law and justice, business and entrepreneurship, and science and technology. Rex Education was among the 15 individuals and institutions recognized at this year’s iteration of the prestigious event. The 21st Manuel L.
