The Perfect Plant Protein: Soy

Image
By Dr. David Heber, M.D., PhD, FACP, FASN,Chairman of the Herbalife Nutrition Institute I think that we can all agree that one of the best ways to live a healthy life is maintaining a healthy diet and exercising regularly. As a medical doctor, who early in my career chose to focus on understanding nutrition’s impact on our bodies, I am a proponent of a balanced diet that includes healthy plant-based foods – especially soy protein. Image
The Swedish dream pop band Joe & The Anchor are after one year of waiting finally back with new vibrating music - So Bad. So Bad is the first song to be released from the band since their debut EP Antidote last year. An uplifting track with electronic trap influences that captures the feeling of holding your head high even when life is challenging, a motto that has formed the band while they’ve stayed together through the ups and downs of life. “So Bad works as our own motivational song, it makes us remember why we do what we do. Setbacks are something everyone can relate to and the song's message is about fighting past it. Because in the end, the journey is always worth it” the band explains. The quote also reflects how hard the friends Joakim Rosenlund, Robin Zhang, Viktor Edsjö, and Ruben Sonesson work for their success. In addition to their musical expression, they attach great importance to their visual style, making all the material themselves. During their yea

What To Do When You’re Too Overwhelmed

Image
At one point (or maybe more than a hundred points) in your life, things will become just too much. Too many items on your to-do list. Too much pressure from your boss. Too much anxiety over things you have no control over. Too many people in the room with you. Too much anger over a situation. Too many things on your mind. When faced with too much, here are some things that you can do. Talk to God. Don’t make this your last option. You don’t have to say a “formal” prayer. Make your prayers as normal as breathing. The more you talk to God, the more natural it will feel to turn to Him when things get too overwhelming. Breathe in, breathe out.
