Strappy Soles PH

Strappy Soles PH aims to provide convertible footwear through removable and switchable straps. With these comfortable and stylish, synthetic leather straps, customers will have the convenience and satisfaction of having multiple designs without buying more than one pair of sandals.

The idea of having sandals with switchable straps was initially conceived for the team’s thesis project. However, ultimately, it was conceived to address a common problem of modern fashionistas, or even women in general, which is to stay stylish and fashionable without spending too much money on more than one pair of sandals. The sandals were made to give women the convenience of creating any style for a specific outfit and the flexibility to change style for any place/event.

Strappy Soles are handmade by local artisans in Marikina. They are made of synthetic leather because the team supports local products and is against the use of animal hide leather for fashion items. The team personally designs the sandals. The designs were inspired by the dress code for women’s footwear at the team’s school (must have straps), by sandals worn by the team members themselves, and by cocktails that one team member loves, giving the product names cocktail brands. The sandals are sold at P650/ pair (inclusive of straps of choice) while the extra straps are P250/pair. The team sees the sole as in “investment.” In the long run, it gets cheaper buying extra straps instead of a new pair of sandals. You buy the straps as a whole then you can mix and match them on your own. E.g. the front can be pink the back can be black, etc. Currently, we have a promo; sandals are at P599/pair.

So stylish and fab! Take a look of these wonderful creations...
