together a media activity to showcase the brand PORKSAVORĀ® All-in-One Seasoning
Mix with its new brand ambassadors Mr. Enrique Gil and his mother Mrs. Bambi
Gil.
True to the activity entitled āStep Up Your Cooking
with PORKSAVORĀ®ā, Ms. Nancy Reyes-Lumen and the brand ambassadors conducted
live cooking demonstrations in a bid to challenge homemakers to step up their
cooking and bring out the meaty goodness of home-cooked dishes using
PORKSAVORĀ®. The show kitchen of the Center for Culinary Arts was filled with
the delicious meaty aroma of dishes cooked for the audience.
According to Ms. Daryl Magno, Ajinomotoās Category
Manager ā Flavor Seasonings, āFilipinos love food with strong meaty flavors and

PORKSAVORĀ® can provide the meaty taste in dishes
even without meat. Using PORKSAVORĀ®, Ms. Nancy Reyes-Lumen cooked meatless
pancit, which makes a great high fiber snack for those limiting their
cholesterol intake. Mrs. Bambi Gil, who knows her way around the kitchen, also helped
prepare the PORKSAVORĀ® Veggie Soup and Pastel dishes. Both recipes are a step
up from the usual āpambaonā ideas and are likewise perfect for the rainy
season.

The mother and son tandem of Bambi and Enrique Gil are
thrilled to endorse a one-of-a-kind product like PORKSAVORĀ®. While taping for

Here are the delectable dishes they cooked and I tell you, it is very savory!
Meatless Pancit
Ingredients
3 tablespoons cooking
oil
4 cloves garlic, chopped
Ā½ piece small onions, chopped
1 small piece carrots
cut into strips
1 small piece sayote,
sliced thinly
1 Ā½ cups
water
3 tablespoons soy
sauce
250 grams pancit
bihon, soaked and drained
Ā½ piece, small cabbage, shredded
2 packs 8 grams PORKSAVORĀ® All-In-One Seasoning Mix
Procedure:
1.
Heat oil in a
pan, sautƩ garlic and onions until wilted.
2.
Add carrots and
cook for 30 seconds, then add sayote and cook for another one (1) minute.
3.
Add water and soy
sauce. Bring to a boil.
4.
Add soaked,
drained pancit bihon and mix well. Continue cooking until tender.
5.
Add cabbage,
simmer and toss well.
6.
Season with PORKSAVORĀ® All-In- One Seasoning Mix.
7.
Mix well and
simmer for another minute.
8.
Serve hot.
Makes 4 - 6 servings
PORKSAVORĀ® Veggie
Soup
Ingredients
4 cups water
1 kilo assorted diced
vegetables, as desired (celery stalks & leaves, carrots, potatoes, sayote,
kalabasa, malunggay, singkamas, sweet beets)
1 large piece white onion, very thinly sliced
4 cloves garlic, crushed
6-8 pieces tomatoes-over
ripe, seeded, chopped, hand crushed chili, chopped, if heat is desired
Ā¼ small piece
cabbage, very thinly
shredded
rock salt and freshly crushed peppercorn to taste
4 packs 8 grams PORKSAVORĀ® All-In-One Seasoning Mix
2 tablespoons cooking oil
Procedure:
- In a pot, boil water.
- As it boils, blanch vegetables separately; do this for each
vegetable.
- When blanched, keep all in a bowl.
- Stock is now flavored with the vegetables. Set Aside.
- In a hot pan, add little oil, sautƩ the onions until thoroughly
caramelized.
- Add the garlic and cook until aromatic but not browned, then add
in the tomatoes and cook until the skins curl.
- Add in the chili, if desired, you can add some of the stock to
prevent drying up.
- Combine all the ingredients, including the stock; bring to a boil,
then simmer.
- Add PORKSAVORĀ® All-In-One
Seasoning Mix, mix well. Heat through.
- Serve hot.
Makes 4-6

A Simple Pastel
Ingredients
4
large pieces potatoes, peeled,
boiled, mashed
2
packs 8 grams PORKSAVORĀ® All-In-One
Seasoning Mix
Procedure:
1. While still hot, mash
potatoes; add in the
PORKSAVORĀ®
All-In-One Seasoning Mix.
2. Mix well. Set aside.
Ingredients (FILLING):

can pimientos, chopped
4
pieces chorizo, diced
1
can cream style
corn
1
small can mushrooms, chopped
1
small piece onion, minced
1
small pack green peas
2-
4 pieces fresh
basil leaves, or fresh oregano or thyme
2
packs 8 grams PORKSAVORĀ® All-In-One
Seasoning Mix to dilute in water
2
tablespoons cooking oil
Procedure:
- Heat pan and sautƩ chorizo in its own
fat.
- Add all other ingredients.
- Sprinkle PORKSAVORĀ® All-In-One Seasoning Mix and mix well.
- Arrange in a casserole pan, top with the
flavored mashed potatoes.
- Steam, torch or bake until set.
- Serve hot.
