Learn, play, and grow as a family at the largest educational kids’ fair in the Philippines

Providing wonderful bonding experiences for parents and children through cultural, educational, and social extravaganza, the country’s largest educational kids’ fair gears up for another year of fun-filled family activities.

SmartKids Asia Philippines (SmartKids), already in its fifth year, continues to offer Filipino families learning opportunities for their children through education, healthcare, and bonding activities.

The event will be from January 26 to 27, 2019, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, at Halls 1 and 2 of the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

SmartKids has achieved immense success in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, gaining its title as one of the largest educational kids’ fair in Asia. Making another fun-filled event in the Philippines, the edutainment extravaganza continues to provide unparalleled opportunities to explore the potential of children through must-see demonstrations, family-centric exhibits, and product booths.

A new adventure for the whole family

Parade to the beat of the drums as SmartKids opens its doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring a dynamic circus act. A welcoming committee of mascots will wait to greet guests and add luster to the event. The first 100 kids to enter the event will be given exclusive freebies.

Anyone can show off their crafty side as Archery 1O1, a co-presenter of the event, will have prizes in store for its Best Archer Costume Contest. Kids 12 years old and below can join the contest and register before the event. Visit bit.ly/skaparchery for the full mechanics of the event.

Archery 1O1, a premium indoor archery range, offers different activities through archery lessons, school physical education integration, bow customization, private events, team building, and corporate events.

After the opening ceremony, the fun and games instantly start as Diwa Learning Systems (Diwa) hosts its Pasiklaban sa Paaralan National Finals, the first and only ICT-integrated traveling quiz show in the country.

Brand partner Tempra will take the stage in the afternoon along with the Kramer family for games and fun activities for the family.

Smart activities

During the two-day event, families will receive Quest Guides upon registration, which entitles them to receive a special loot bag once they present a completed Stamp Page. SmartKids also features free family-oriented classes and workshops given by exhibitors where participants can learn about various tips in cooking, health, and education.

What to expect

Parents and children are invited to explore the different booths and events at the SmartKids venue. As such, it is best to wear clothes and shoes fit for a whole day of walking and activities.

A family weekend of fun-filled activities is better with the right preparations. Before heading to SmartKids, families can enjoy the day by bringing the following:

·         MetroDeal vouchers (If tickets were bought early)
·         Towels and extra clothes
·         Hygiene products (i.e. sanitizer, wet wipes, or tissue)
·         Bottles of water
·         Snacks or candies
·         Camera to capture the highlights of the day
·         Pen and notebook for notes and reminders

Entry passes

Family tickets, which are good for 2 adults and 2 kids, are available for PHP 250, with additional adults and kids for PHP 50 each. Senior citizens, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), and children 2 years old and below are given free admission.

Sponsors and media partners

SmartKids has been collaborating with well-known brands over the years. Aside from having Archery 1O1 as a co-presenter, partnering with the event this 2019 are well-loved brands Bear Brand, Diwa, Tempra, Skechers, and Lima Park Hotel, who have each prepared an array of stage, classroom, and booth activities for the whole family.
