TMC Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month
Last March 4, 2019, The Medical City celebrates Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month where people from the medical field and friends from the Media were invited. Doctors Dr. Josephine Tolentino /Medical Oncologist, Dr. Jun Ruiz / Gastroenterologist, and Dr. Dionne Sacdalan / Colorectal Surgeon shares their insights about Colorectal awareness.
Also, TMC announced that finally Philhealth Z Package can now be avail in the hospital. Good news because Colorectal Cancer, considered as the 3rd most common cancer can be preventable, treatable and beatable.
All those Philhealth members who has stage 1 to stage 3 Colorectal Cancer can avail the benefits. The patient will undergo a screening first before they will considered on this program. They need to submit pathology/colonic biopsy report.
