Hodai Fusion Japanese Cuisine

Today, many restaurants are booming in the country that specialized in Asian Cuisines. But there's only few that offers a Korean and Japanese fushion. No doubt that this is the new trend since the Philippines was influenced by  Korean and Japanese in terms of fashion, food, music, etc. Recently, I got a chance to visit Hodai Restaurant. From the name itself, it sounds Japanese. Hodai means "all you can" in Nihongo. This restaurant offers an unlimited fusion Japanese cuisine.

For all the foodies out there who have already tasted an ordinary japanese food like Tempura, Gyoza, Teriyaki and among others well, you will surely love the taste of what Hodai offers. They're all savory and have a distinctive flavor that you haven't taste from other restaurant in the Metro. At Hodai, the customers can choose different sets of menu in a very reasonable prices. And yes, it is unlimited and you can eat all you want. Take note, they have rice and miso soup too!

My favorites are Tempura, Korean Fried Chicken, and Cheese Cream Spicy BBQ Bowl. I really loved shrimp and their Tempura is one of the best I have tasted so far because the breading is not thick and you will taste the huge shrimp inside. Even without dip, it is very flavorful. Their Korean Chicken has a tender meat and the seasoning put on it is what I liked. The Cheese Cream Spicy BBQ Bowl is superb. Even it is spicy, the creaminess of the cheese cream adds new flavor to that dish that makes it so delicious. So if you're a picky eater, you have choices whether you prefer pork, chicken, seafood and veggies.

To complete your dining experience, Hodai offers a variety of frozen desserts as well that you will surely love. Since I have a big sweet tooth, I enjoy Encho Bar because of the mouthwatering thick chocolate inside the ice cream.

Hodai is located at 14 Examiner St., West Triangle, Quezon City. They serve lunch from 11am to 3pm while 5pm to 10pm is the dinner. So if you're looking for a nice place to satisfy your Japanese and Korean cravinggs, Hodai Fushion Japanese Cuisine is a must visit! Your friends and loved ones will definitely love their sumptuous dishes.
