AXA Philippines helps rehabilitate a community in Zambales

Employees of leading global insurer AXA Philippines recently visited a community of indigenous peoples in San Felipe, Zambales to help rehabilitate the area by planting more than one thousand seedlings. With the help of MAD Travel, the volunteers also conducted art and reading activities with the youth of the Yangil tribe. In return, the volunteers were taught archery by the elders, which is their method of hunting for food. AXA Philippines, through its corporate social responsibility initiative AXA Hearts in Action, continuously participates in similar development activities to help empower communities to live better lives, as well as foster awareness of environmental protection and sustainability, and promote community interaction.
