Last May 7, 2018,  the newest branch of Highlands Coffee opens and it is located at the Ground Floor of Double Dragon Plaza, EDSA Extension corner Macapagal Blvd., Pasay City. The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by the owners,  Double Dragon Properties Executives, VIP guests,  Bloggers and Coffee lovers as well.


Highlands Coffee offers not only Authentic Vietnamese Coffee but also a unique coffee experience once you visit any of their stores nationwide. Friendly staff,  Nice ambiance, Coffee choices whether hot or cold,  teas,  sandwiches and pastries are available in Highlands Coffee.


Here are some food and drinks I have tasted.

Phin Sua Da or simply Iced Coffee with Milk is a must try coffee. 

Chocolate Freeze is very refreshing.  It has a chocolatey taste and there is a jelly that adds awesome flavor. 

Banh Mi is a Vietnamese Sandwich,  choices are: Tuna,  Shredded Chicken,  Grilled Pork.  I like the Shredded Chicken because it is very flavorful. 

Assorted pastries like cupcakes,  brownies,  cheesecakes etc. I love the Oreo Cheesecake because it is not so sweet,  you can taste the real oreo cookies. 

During the grand opening,  I got a chance to witness how was Phin Sua Da prepared.  So amazing process that is why it taste so good.

Rex Education takes home awards at 21st Manuel L. Quezon Gawad Parangal, 45th Catholic Mass Media Awards

  Rex Education was recently recognized at the 21st Manuel L. Quezon Gawad Parangal and the 45th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA). The Quezon Gawad Parangal is held annually in October as part of the local government’s celebration of the city’s founding. The 2023 awards ceremony recognized individuals and institutions who were exemplary in the fields of social work, environment and sanitation, law and justice, business and entrepreneurship, and science and technology. Rex Education was among the 15 individuals and institutions recognized at this year’s iteration of the prestigious event. The 21st Manuel L. Quezon Gawad Parangal took place on October 25 at the PETA Theater Center.
